We have extensive experience in employee hiring and termination processes, compensation packages, audit and legal compliance work, subcontracting, internal corporate policies, due diligence processes, labor matters derived from and/or associated with mergers and acquisitions, internal investigations, issues of social security and taxes on workers. We actively participate in advising clients in labor litigation and claims, including procedures before the Ministry of Labor and the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) and administrative procedures derived from work accidents and occupational diseases. In terms of subcontracting services (outsourcing), we permanently advise subcontracting companies and owners on projects related to these matters, identifying and mitigating risks and associated legal responsibilities. Our legal team has experience in collective negotiations, union organization and representation in negotiations and labor disputes, as well as in the development of internal human resources policies and training programs.
